![]() One of the most common supplements I use with clients is Kombucha. Kombucha is produced by fermenting black or great tea with a “symbiotic ‘colony’ of bacteria and yeast” (SCOBY). It has been used for over 1,000 years and has recently become popular around the world. You may have noticed drinks in your local grocery store, Costco or health food store. These drinks are excellent, however when I’m working with a client, I use a concentrated form of Kombucha by Botanica. Kombucha tastes very much like apple cider vinegar and will help you with digestive issues, pH balancing, positive bacteria, absorption in the digestive tract, improves bowels, d-tox the liver and is also high in B and C vitamins helping to improve antioxidant levels. The reason I use this supplement with so many clients is because most people in our society have digestive, absorption and bowel issues and so if we start cleaning up this area of the body we start to see the benefits trickle down to having more energy, better sleep, let toxins and overall a better sense of wellbeing. The dosage I use with clients is 2 tsp in 1/4-1/2 cup of water twice a day, and I suggest drinking this combination before the two largest meals of the day. I also recommend using the Kombucha as your vinegar component to your salad dressing, as this will help your stomach to break down the raw foods. Is this a supplement that you would benefit from? Lisa can use the tools of iridology, sclerology and tongue assessment to see how your bacteria levels look, your digestion conditions and bowel toxins to see if this the right supplement for you.
