Thoughts from Psychic Medium Judy
Is a psychic gift inherited?
I can only share my experience, and let the reader decide for themselves.
In my own case I had the sight as they call it from my earliest memory. I do not recall a time that I was not aware of spirit and spirits. The whispers were always there.
I can say that as I grew up my mothers reaction was that yes it was real. However please squash it. "Your Grandmother was known as the witch of "Southwick" she would say.
It is not a nice thing and in my mothers mind certainly not a gift.
My daughter was always very aware and intuitive, I never discounted it. however I never really pushed it either, leaving her the choice whether to allow the gift to be part of her life in a big way or not.
However My grandson Grayson is only 3 and he is so amazing I will not ever doubt the presence of his awareness. Let me share my story with you and you make up your mind.
My daughter got married 6 years ago in November. The day after the wedding her father in law David, passed over. He had bowel cancer and he waited till after the wedding to leave us.
Now my grandson since he has been able to talk has told his mother that his grandpa visits him. He has described him fully. He describes him how he looked before he died. He tells us that his grandpa reads stories to him. He says his grandpa is on vacation.
Now remember David has been gone for 6 years and Grayson is only 3.
When he visited his grandmother, David's wife he saw a picture of David and told his mother that's my grandpa that visits me.
Then this weekend my daughter and Grayson were out and ran into a friend of hers and they were discussing visiting her friends grandpa. Somehow the conversation turned to Grayson not having his grandpa to visit. Well Grayson heard this and got extremely upset. He said, "my grandpa visits me all the time. Why would you say that!" He was visibly distressed by what he heard. Angela was stunned by how forceful he was. Then he turned to her and said I know he hasn't talked to you for 6 years but he does me!
Well you can imagine her shock! A child of 3 has no concept of time like years. Also he was correct His grandfather has been gone 6 years. I can only say, that I do recall when I was very young that I could not distinguish whether who I was talking to was alive or had passed on. In my recollection I believe I was about 6 before I knew. the difference.
So I am going to leave it up to you the reader to decide if this is inherited or not. I would love to hear your opinion.
