The Moon is the heavenly body that is closest to Earth, and also the one that moves fastest in the sky. Thus, its influence not only huge (It governs our mind and emotions, among other things, so it is affecting us whenever we are awake.), but its influence is very changeable.
Some Moon Phases are good for tackling problems, others are best for socializing or celebrating. Did you know that there are Moon Phases that are powerful for removing obstacles of any kind, others that can boost your prosperity?
A lunar month takes about 28 days, and in that time, there are fifteen waxing phases and fifteen waning phases. The most well known ones are the New Moon, and the Full Moon. The New moon is a time of new beginnings, and the most recent one, on March 26, near the spring equinox, marks the beginning of a new year in many traditions, including Vedic Astrology.
The Full Moon is a time of lots of energy, a time when we can energize our material dreams, and is also a good time to celebrate our connections.

Vedic Astrology is a powerful tool for finding and walking your true path in life: a way to find out what your gifts are, how to navigate life's storms, and make career and important relationship choices. The subtle forces that shape our lives on earth can be read, and we can learn to work with them for a happier life.
Vedic Astrology is one of the most ancient forms of astrology. It comes from India, and dates from an ancient time when people were much more in tune with the rhythms of nature. One of the important features is an additional zodiac of twenty-seven signs, called Nakshatras, or birthstars, that add to the picture. They can indicate gifts, tendencies, and abilities that you may not be aware of. The importance of Moon Phases is clearly understood as well in Vedic Astrology. This astrology is also perfectly integrated with yoga and Ayurvedic medicine, so remedies are offered to help with problems! Scientific studies have proven its accuracy and usefulness.
An important point that adds to its accuracy is that Vedic Astrology uses the Sidereal Zodiac, which is accurate with what is happening in the sky at the time of birth, or the time of the reading. The planets are in the horoscope exactly where they really are in the sky at the time. (I love to see how this all works on my phone app, Skywatch, and see the stars moving in the sky, along with the planets situated among them.)
If you choose to have an Astrology reading done, you will find out which planets are helping or hindering you in various areas of your life, what is your Birthstar, what types of abilities you may have that you are not making use of, and which planetary influences are most active for you right now. You will understand how to work with the planets on a regular basis with Vedic Remedies, and can find out timings when you will be likely to make that job move, get married, etc.
